The Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum National Design Week During the week of October 15th, 2006 The Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum will host National Design Week which will celebrate the effects graphic design and other design media have on education through outreach programs from school teachers to their students and partnerships with design organizations across the country. Launched in 2000 to honor the best in American design, National Design Week is a part of the White House Millennium Council which seeks to increase the national awareness of design by educating the public. |
