The creation of an interactive portal by DDA helps Benefit Allocation Systems educate its clientís employees on flexible spending account (FSA) benefits.
Benefit Allocation Systems (BAS) needed a way to educate its clientís employees on flexible spending accounts (FSAs). Many employees immediately dismissed the program as something they could not afford, creating low enrollment. BSA contacted the Flash programming experts at Dynamic Digital Advertising (DDA) to create a comprehensive and interactive tool that would aim to educate employees on the program and help them understand how affordable and beneficial an FSA can be.
The portal would be a complete guide for information regarding two different types of FSAs: healthcare and dependent daycare. The portal would include abundant information, interactive and user-friendly navigation, and a website spokesperson to help users easily comprehend the site and its contents. DDA Medical would also integrate a calculator to allow users to determine if an FSA is a good option for them.
DDA Medical created a comprehensive portal that combines information and interactivity to educate employees on FSAs. The spokesperson, who was chosen from DDA Medicalís Actorsí Network, presents information about each topic and guides users through an overview of an FSA from start to finish. The video spokesperson was taped in the DDA Medical studio and the footage was integrated with additional imagery and text that was written by DDA Medical writers in collaboration with BAS. Users who already knew specific information they wanted to view were given the ability to click on that information and users who wanted to navigate the site manually were given the option to stop the video and freely navigate through the information.
The custom-programmed calculator allows users to determine if an FSA is appropriate for them by collecting a few pieces of information. Users enter household income and medical expenses and the calculator will automatically determine tax savings and spendable income with and without an FSA. A link directly to the BAS enrollment portal was provided so users could watch the presentation then instantly sign onto the program.
The all-inclusive portal is an engaging, user-friendly, and easy-to-use interactive tool that informs, educates, and helps employees calculate savings with an FSA. The FSA learning portal has continued to help BASís clientís employees fully understand the FSA program and its benefits. Additionally, a DDA Medical graphic designer created a custom design that can serve as a core design for all of BASís future marketing materials.
