Theory in practice
The computer science world is the realm that utilizes theoretical notion from a variety of branches of studies such as psychology, for example, in the study of artificial intelligence, cybernetics, and robotics. We have seen many software applications that utilize this theory to improve technology such as adaptive programming where a software program can learn as it experiences. Many speech recognition software applications have utilized pattern recognition methodology, using chaos theory, or probabilistic theory. The simulation of biological processes in software application such genetic programming, adaptive algorithms, and virus applications, have all been carefully studied and extrapolated to approach different problem solving methodologies. Of course, in the business world, applications are built to simulate many aspects of the business ideology. For example, in the stock market alone software applications are engineered to foresee all probable outcomes of a stock with all the independent and dependent variables.
The computer science study is the embodiment of theory that is practical in simulations.
