All of That… For What?

This past weekend, I attended my cousin’s local wedding. The flowers were beautiful, everyone was all dressed up and polished, food was great, drinks were flowing and emotions were high.

Compared to the circus act that I am planning for my own wedding, her wedding was small. Four bridesmaids and just over 100 guests danced the night away in celebration of the couple’s union. After many months of planning and thousands of dollars spent, then poof… just like that and it’s over. All you are left with are drooping flowers, leftover favors and nothing but memories. I’m sure if you ask any bride, it’s all worth it in the end.
