I’ll Admit it, I’m a List Maker
Like Toni, a Project Coordinator handling new business development at DDA, I make a list of daily tasks that need to be checked off each day.
At DDA, a search engine marketing company, I handle such a long list of websites to optimize that my check list has grown from just a handful of sites to a now double sided-printed version that I update weekly.
On my trusty website optimization checklist, I make notes of which sites need meta tags focused, sitemaps created and directory submissions finished. With so many sites to work on each month, I find this spreadsheet a necessity for my search engine optimization. How else would I keep everything that I need to increase websites’ rankings in search engines organized?
I also always have a yellow notepad by my side for any non-SureThing work that needs to be completed. Today, it is full of website optimization that needs to be implemented for our own websites; ddausa.com, ddaapps.com and ddasem.com. These are newly created sites that detail specific topics created for and by DDA.
So today, I will be going through my lists and checking them twice. I feel such a sense of accomplishment when I get to cross a task off of my list! I’m a nerd, I know.
