Chroma Keying at DDA

Today I’ll be processing more raw footage in AfterEffects for another one of our corporate clients. We have a series of video clips with actors in front of a green screen that need to be keyed out in order to be integrated into the client’s website. Not only is it an effective means of communication but it looks cool too!

Chroma keying is a technique used for compositing multiple images together by removing a certain color (or color range) revealing another image behind it. With the power of technology (and some creativity) us video editors can create anything from slick promotional videos to an entire imaginary world of fictional elements.

Here at DDA, we are fortunate enough to have our own green screen in our video production studio. We have a wealth of composited videos on our video portfolio page so check it out to see what we can do!
