High Hopes

The Major League Baseball season has finally come to a close as the New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in game six of the 2009 World Series. As a long time Phillies fan, it was certainly a difficult game to swallow and even tougher series to digest. I guess I should be thankful that the fightins’ got this far especially after taking it all in last year’s huge win against the Tampa Bay Rays. After going decades without a glimpse of any Philadelphia championship win in sight, the hunger for another victory grew with every post season game. Though I must admit, I’m happy that the city of brotherly love still held on to a great baseball team for a second season in a row. We all remember what happened in 1994 after going to the World Series the previous year… not so good!

The Phillies’ defeat teaches us how to persevere through the tough moments and bounce back strong. Here at DDA, the project list is endless and although there are times where it seems like all of the deadlines fall on the same day, our team of professionals fight back to ensure everything gets done the right way and on time. Having exceedingly high expectations ensures exceptional client services and a quality product. That’s where we excel the most!

I have no doubt that the Phillies will fight back next season and once again come home a champion. Until then, I suppose I’ll have to settle for football.
