2 shoots 1 day

Today we have 2 video shoots going on in the studio. The first is a rehearsal for the DDA CMT video that I have been talking about the past few weeks. We will be filming the whole introduction script (the first of 13) with Debbie, Andrew and a stuffed Dolphin acting as a stand in for SEAL. I am very excited to see the final product as we have been preparing for this for quite some time. Since we have not done 3d matching before, it is important that we take the proper steps to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Once we have the footage, we will bring it into Syntheyes which will create a camera path for use in Lightwave. Rob will then take it from there and use that camera path in the SEAL animation. The footage will then be given back to me and the final compositing will be done in After Effects.

The second shoot is for a website video for our friends Jimmy and Donna. A week or so ago, they helped install the insulation that is making this summer bearable for me (91 and humid today and my new house has no AC). We are launching a new website for them and the main page will have a video introduction and mission statement. Jimmy and Donna are about the nicest people you could meet so it is a pleasure working with them!
