Bringing a Design to Life
I am currently building the user interface shell for a couple of interactive training and marketing CD-ROMs. Once the static design is delivered to me from the designers, it’s time for me to make things snap, crackle and pop! The user interface needs to be engaging, highly usable and clear from the moment the user lays their eyes on it. Of course, a lot of this is already tackled by the designer. But we as humans are about motion and sensation and I feel the interaction with a user interface should not be a barrier to these qualities. This is always an exciting stage of a DDA project, when it truly comes to life.
