Improving Interactive Website Production with Classes
I’m not talking about the classes you might be used to. There aren’t any teachers, desks or homework. I’m talking about writing classes in Flash to help with organizing and reusing code in Flash applications. Currently, we have a couple big medical training tools we are developing which are similar in layout, design, and interactivity, but different in content. Using Flash classes has been a great way of sharing code between the two applications, improving and streamlining workflow. Although having worked in Flash for more than 6 years, I’m still learning more about it everyday, from handling simple button actions to the intricacies of handling streaming video.
