Real Learning for eLearning

Today, those of us involved in the initial planning and design of a complex eLearning simulation and testing tool are going on a field trip. We are visiting an actual electrophysiology lab not too far from the DDA office. We’ve already seen and handled some of the equipment used in later stages of a particular surgical procedure but what we are viewing today is the amazing fluoroscopy X-ray machines, monitors, and other software and hardware which is revolutionizing electrophysiology medical treatment today. It will be a true learning experience for us to help understand and translate the environment to a virtual environment that will fit on a computer monitor and allow a user to easily and willingly navigate through the eLearning experience.
