On Location Webcasting – Part 2

Last week Tyler and I were on location for yet another live webcast shoot for one of our pharmaceutical clients. This time in Denver, Colorado! I’ve never been this far west before so this was a new experience for me.

Since the Denver airport is miles from the rest of civilization, we immediately noticed the breathtaking mountainous view from our cab. We agreed that the air was a bit thinner due to the higher altitude, though it’s relieving freshness seemed to make up for it, making it just as easy to breathe.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we scoped out the conference room to plan an attack for setting up the equipment for that night’s live webcast. Room looked good- plenty of space, low ambient noise, and fast internet speeds!

Once everything was setup later in the afternoon, we performed a series of live tests to ensure everything was functioning properly. Below is a picture of the setup before the doctor arrived.

The hotel was just as nice as the people and the Colorado scenery. Below is a picture of the spectacular view from my hotel window!

It was unfortunate that we didn’t get to see the city a whole lot, but we did manage to get to a restaurant in an indoor/outdoor shopping mall complex known as Park Meadows. Never in my life have I seen so many stores in one area before. It made the King of Prussia area look tiny. I hate to think what it would be like to navigate during the holiday season! The scenery, however, was very interesting so I took a few pictures as seen below.

This week we’ll be heading to Detroit, MI for the final two production shoots in this series of live webcasts. As always, we are looking forward to seeing new places and meeting new people. More updates to come!
