CD-ROM Catalog On The Right Track

Recently I have been working on build out for a project in which we are creating a CD-ROM catalog of items for a client. When there are multiple steps to build out each item and add it to the catalog, it can become more complicated than you expected. Add to that the need to organize the catalog a certain way, and you’ve got a lot of work to do.

Fortunately for me, that work has been lessened significantly thanks to Laurence. Before he left for vacation, he left me with a neatly organized chart of what should be in the catalog, and where it all should go. He also created the flash file and set up a template .xml file, so all I needed to do is organize the data and enter it in, plus create and organize the properly sized images for each item’s preview. After that, I’m good!

With everybody working together and making it this easy for the next guy, DDA can function like a well-oiled machine. In all of our work, including our print work, CD-ROMs, website integration, animation, and web optimization, DDA comes through with a dedicated staff committed to making it work.
