The Value of Research
There is something about creating content for the DDA website that really intrigues me. We at DDA usually come up with some very compelling, unique and entertaining experiences for our visitors to explore, and to be able to create those experiences is an adventure in itself.
But what happens when something doesn’t work out the way you planned it? We run into these kinds of issues all the time. Flash issues, browser incompatibilities, and programming bugs have all reared their ugly heads in our projects. What do we do, at DDA, when this happens? We adapt.
I think we are fortunate here at DDA to have a work environment that allows us time when working on internal projects. We have time to research, time to look into problems, and time to fix these issues. With the vast amount of information available to us on the internet, as well as the many print resources available in the DDA Library, we can research and react to problems and fix them in a timely manner. This allows us to create more entertaining and more intriguing content for our users to appreciate.
