Something Learned

If you want something to be timed from the start of a page being visited using Javascript, you should call the timing function in the head section of the HTML. Calling the function using “onload” in the body tag would delay it until other content has finished loading first.

This means that on slower computers or computers with slower Internet connections, the Javascript timer would not start until later and it would seem like it added several seconds to the count even when it hasn’t.
