After a fairly cold and rainy several days, it looks like this weekend is shaping up to be a gorgeous one. I can’t wait to be outside in the sun again and play some basketball. I think we might be starting the garden this weekend too, but I am not positive. I’m supposed to order an infomercial tomato plant called “Tomato Giant.” If anyone has tried this super plant out, please let me know if it lived up to the hype. The Tomato Giant could be just another clever use of television advertising with nice footage of the best plants, or it could be a great product that is finally getting its chance to be released publicly. Either way, I can assume that the creators have profited from it since it is a nationally shown infomercial and they always do well.
For those who haven’t seen the Tomato Giant infomercial, it is a tomato plant that looks like it grows almost 6 feet tall and they claim it can grow 60 pounds of tomatoes per plant. It’s crazy. Thanks to my science class in junior high school, I know that this was probably achieved over a long span of time by constantly using the seeds and breeding the plants that had the characteristics that they found desirable. In this instance if the plant was tall or produced a high yield, they would reuse the seeds from those plants in hopes of replicating and even improving on those results. Since seeds can be patented now, I’m sure the Tomato Giant seed is a heavily guarded item that can’t be sold by any other company.
DDA can whip up a winning commercial for your product. Whether you want a radio ad or television commercial, we have the equipment and the staff to come up with something that will move your product. We could make it with animation or with live actors. We can even make it right here in our own in-house video studio complete with a green screen if need be. We have our own writers too so we can do the commercial scriptwriting for you as well if there isn’t any yet. From beginning to end, we can handle any part of the process to make you a commercial you’ll be happy with.
