More Firsts and Lasts
Yesterday was my 4 1/2-yr old’s last day of soccer practice. I’m making a sad face. Why did all the kids decide that on the last day of soccer practice they were going to have the best practice ever? Even my almost 2-yr old was running around with the other 2-yr olds playing what we think was Tag. Everyone left saying goodbye to everyone and the kids finally knew everyone’s name and I must admit I teared up a bit once I got in the car. Boy, do I hate last days. Tomorrow is the last game. I better bring a tissue, or five.
Speaking of last days, today is the first day of Autumn. I do love the first day of Autumn. It’s like the start of a new year or at least to me it feels more like the start of a new year. More so than the actual New Year’s Day. So many things are changing such as the weather, the start of school, and it looks like email and phone requests for new project quotes are on the rise. Time to streamline and refresh our processes so as my task list fills with projects, such as interactive media websites, webcasting services, corporate and medical brochures, live streaming video and logo design, I am ready to complete my portion of the project so that our other talented DDA staffers can include their programming, animation, video, or other high-tech, state-of-the-art features and effects.
