One of the many goals for DDA staff is to complete their blogs by 10:00 am every day. Well it is only a little after 9:00 and I am actually writing it. This is the first time.
Why are mornings so hectic? I guess mornings, especially early mornings, are like breakfast should be, hearty, robust, and flavorful. Both breakfast and workday mornings set the tone and pace for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately, the reality is quite different. Breakfast and mornings are more often than not, for most Americans, fast, unhealthy, and just something to get through. Unfortunately again, it is true that both breakfast and workday mornings set the tone and pace for the rest of the day.
The day should just flow from sales meetings about new corporate and medical website design and development projects to planning meetings about medical CME and training videos, to staff meetings about in-house photography, illustration, copy writing, search engine optimization/marketing and programming projects.
So today, I am going to slow down a little, smell the coffee for the first time, and take the day one digestible piece at a time.
Oh, did I mention that I had a two-day-old, McDonald’s Egg McMuffin for breakfast?
