Chrysalis

Before it becomes a butterfly, a caterpillar goes through a transitional stage of metamorphosis during which it is called a “chrysalis.” On the surface it may not look like much is happening, but the delicate chrysalis transmogrifies the fuzzy little caterpillar into an awesome butterfly with wings of intricate designs and intense colors. There is an amazing amount of work that goes on that is unseen inside the chrysalis, but maybe because we can’t see it, the complexity and intricacy is taken for granted. It may seem that with just the snap of your fingers, instantly the change is complete, but all of the behind-the-scenes magic is actually a finely choreographed work of art.

Such is the metamorphosis that occurs here at DDA whenever a new website or ad campaign is underway. It starts with the meeting of the minds, where different components are brought together and organized. Then moves into the chrysalis stage where the magic of graphic design, medical illustrations and animations, virtual medical simulations, medical content writing, and interactive technology combine with medical website design and video streaming. The resulting presentation emerges from the chrysalis as an awesome magical work of art, full of intricate designs and intense information. It’s amazing.
