A Choir of Creative Minds
Ever since I was a little girl, I sang in choirs, starting with a cherub group when I was old enough to stand at the church alter through a small women’s group in college. For any one who’s been a member, they know the feeling that comes over you when you find perfect harmony. It’s a humbling feeling; that your voice may be strong, but when it is in unison with other strong voices - each holding a different note - the result can be powerful enough to move listeners to tears. This time of year, I especially miss being part of a choir. The songs and hymns of this holiday have a way of bringing peace to my soul and my spirit closer to my faith.
I may no longer be a member in a choir of vocalists and my singing may only be done to my heart’s content in car rides, but I am a member in a choir at DDA. Our advertising agency is staffed by copywriters, programmers, web developers, search engine optimization technicians, graphic artists, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and animators. Each brings something different to a project and when all the components combine, the result is powerful enough to compel consumers to buy.
Christmas is about a week away and I may not be feeling perfect harmony from song, but I’m seeing perfect harmony in action among a group of creative minds as we produce work that is a higher level of quality than ever before. But enough of my long windedness, I better get back to practice for the next big show!
