A Day in the Life
One of the items on my task list is to create a script for a 40-minute training video of a web portal that facilitates insurance claims billing through a clearinghouse. However, I’m not able to start scriptwriting until the outline or structure of the training video is in place. This stage of development can often be the most time-consuming aspect as it requires a delicate balance between usability and marketing strategy. Every service needs to be taken into consideration just as the needs of every user at all administrative levels needs to be addressed. We are scheduled to have a conference call later today to further clarify the details and it is my hope that I will be able to end the day with a solid plan in place so that I may type away at the script and get it in the hands of one of our many professional voice-over talents from our Actors’ Network for audio recording in our sound proof booths. This is just another day in the life of a copywriter at our interactive marketing and advertising agency!
