Working Together is Interactive

The script I am writing today is for an interactive flash piece, which will be formatted on CD-ROM and also available on the client’s website.

It will function like a virtual tour, guiding the user through all of the different components. While I do have a draft finished, I want to go back through and make some adjustments. I also want to speak with the other people involved in the project to determine how the CD-ROM will function. That’s one of the great things about working for a full-service advertising and marketing company.

All of our services are in-house, so it really makes for a collaborative and interactive process. Rarely, do I ever work on a project that does not involve another department. Graphic designers, programmers, web developers, they can all be a part of a project I’m involved in.

It really allows me to be more creative and to make the experience more interactive. One of the things I would like to do, is to have the actor pointing to links and additional information.

By being able to communicate so closely with the other departments, I am able to make a better overall experience for the user.
