In early 2003 and 2004, Dynamic Digital Advertising had a staff of inside sales people who stayed on the phone all day looking for leads and/or following up on mailings we sent out. And our mailings were clever and memorable. We got attention, and clients. That system evolved from the one person (meaning Elizabeth doing cold calls) to one person who took my place and most memorably Ray for five years and Esther (a real pistol and 75 years young) who was part of the ramp up in ‘03-’04. It was an intense, painstaking, often frustrating way to find potential clients, that started with lists, mailings, follow-up calls and follow-up letters. But we stuck to it while we built our Internet presence.
Suddenly, almost like magic our marketing efforts shifted completely to the Internet. I say suddenly, but if you look at our DDA timeline , you’ll realize it was a persistent effort to go virtual.
