In America, the exchange of information has changed dramatically since Benjamin Franklin was appointed our first Postmaster General in 1775. Post riders on horseback were the first surface mail contractors to carry mail semi-weekly between Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts. In 1848, the Post Office Department awarded contracts to two steamship companies to carry mail between New York and California in three to four weeks, which at the time was a lofty goal as it was reported that Los Angeles learned California was admitted to the Union six weeks after the fact. In the 1830s, the Department awarded several contracts for rail transportation, which was touted at the time as “forming a new era in the mail.” Click for MORE
The first established experimental airmail routes started in 1918 by way of Philadelphia as a result of the Army Signal Corps lending their planes and pilots to the cause. Scheduled airmail service followed, proving 22 hours faster than cross-country all-rail time. By the 1970s, electronic mail (or email) was underway, and even predated the inception of the Internet. Today, airmail has become express with overnight deliveries at higher than standard rates, but the fastest and least expensive way to share information is by email. In this way, messages and files are exchanged between hosts using standard protocols with software programs and secure servers.
DDA provides email service to those enrolled in our SureThing™ Search Engine Optimization program and to those who host their website through our servers. Helping, supporting, teaching, and speeding business communication is just one of the many ways we make our clients’ business faster, smoother, better.

The old Confucian proverb says, "a picture is worth a thousand words".
One second of video has 30 frames (pictures), so each minute has 180 pictures and each hour has 10,800 pictures. So if a picture is worth a thousand words, then an hour of video is worth 10,800,000 words.
According to Google there are at almost fourteen billion (13,800,000,000) pages in their database with some text on it. Not quite sure how many videos there are on the web, but just for interest, let’s say a billion. Let’s continue by guessing that the average video length is 5 minutes. This equals more than eighty three million hours and we already know that an hour of video is worth 10,800,000 words so the total number of word equivalents is 89.64 trillion and at about 200 words per page that would equal 4.482 billion pages. So informationally speaking, there is about three times the amount of textual information on the Internet then there is that is video based. And as we all know, that ratio has changed dramatically over the last three years. We think it is safe to say that the ratio will equalize, and perhaps reverse during the next three years.
So, DDA Video wants to ask, with all of the world’s population becoming much more video-centric, and with the excellent webcasting and video streaming capability of companies like DDA Video, why do most web pages offer the website visitor a user experience that requires him/her to be a reader and not a viewer?

Long before terms like “usability” and “accessibility” were published in online advice articles by web specialists, Dynamic Digital Advertising (DDA) was pioneering usability analysis and was designing and developing websites not with the user in mind, but with the user as top priority. Intuitive navigation and easy accessibility to information have always been and continue to be of the utmost importance at DDA. These web development principles extended to DDA’s medical division, and today the latest generation website of DDA Medical, the DDA SmartSite™, embodies the true definition of a user-friendly, interactive experience. DDA Medical’s new SmartSite™ provides users with complete control over their viewing experience. Upon entering the website, users are presented with an organized menu structure, correlating video synched with feature information, text modules, and examples of projects that relate to specific video discussions. For the first time, users are able to adjust the site to their own viewing preferences by opening and closing any of the modules displayed. Every experience is unique and inherently customized. DDA and DDA Medical can help you develop your own SmartSite™ so that visitors are able to navigate the site easily, absorb the information quickly, and respond to your call-to-action appropriately.

As you may or may not know, DDA has taken steps to “go green” for years – whether it is through the implementation of our four-day work week first started in 1999 or the installation of energy-efficient insulation throughout our new offices upon our move in 2008. For each of us, being green and getting greener are constants in both our professional and personal lives. That said, we’re proud to announce our clients efforts to go green. Click for MORE
We are currently working with Acrymax Technologies, Inc. on the design and development of their corporate website. Most of this company’s elastomeric “cool” roofing coatings are ENERGY STAR® rated and intended to increase energy efficiency for homes, businesses, and other buildings. This reduces what they call the “urban heat island effect”, otherwise known as temperature warming in urban areas compared to rural as a primary result of modification of land surface. Acrymax is also a member of the United States Green Building Council, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the construction, planning, and maintenance of green buildings.
Nexus Parking Systems has been one of our long-term clients and we are currently developing a company website that will effectively combine all parking facilities owned, managed, and operated by Nexus in one central web location. Nexus has installed solar fields (200.6/kw each) on the rooftops of the Clinton Commons and Station Plaza Park & Ride parking decks which flank the newly renovated NJ TRANSIT Trenton Train Station. The field array of 662 individual solar panels on each deck is anticipated to reduce the electric consumption on an annual basis by 467,500/kwh combined and on many days will be returning power to the PSE&G grid. Using one alternative energy source to fuel another, the company has installed several docking stations under the solar grid for electric vehicles!
Our current project for Atlantic Gasket Corporation includes a search engine optimized content module to further the search engine rankings already achieved from our initial website design and development project in 2006. Atlantic Gasket has recently taken action to improve the energy efficiency of their plant by sealing cracks and joints in windows, doors, and other exterior points; updating the urethane foam insulation coatings on their roofs; fine-tuning boiler and rooftop unit operations; and replacing older light fixtures with new energy-efficient fixtures. Their efforts to conserve critical natural resources don’t end there; now that environmental awareness has taken hold, the company continues to find new ways to go green.
After having designed, programmed, and written over 500 pages of search engine optimized content for the websites of the Northeast affiliates of Renewal by Andersen® Windows in 2007, we continue to optimize their search engine rankings through our advanced SureThing™ program. Renewal by Andersen® is the first replacement window company to be Green Seal Certified, and High-Performance™ Low-E4™ glass allows all Renewal by Andersen™ products to meet ENGERGY STAR® requirements. By optimizing press releases and programming special featured offers, we’ve been able to help Renewal by Andresen® affiliates promote the benefits of the $1,500 tax credit as part of the Stimulus Plan to commercial business owners and residential homeowners.
