The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

No, it’s not Christmas, but for me this is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. The kids can play out in the yard and thankfully my 3-year old has found a neighbor boy to play ball with. The windows can be opened to let the clean air keep the house smelling fresh and at night you can hear the crickets singing before falling asleep, flowers are blooming, most of our grass is bare-foot friendly, the blueberries are delicious, and even the flies are having a good time (at least those found on my deck this weekend). New (and old) projects coming through DDA’s door and into my inbox are also exciting and plentiful. A package design for a novelty item is well underway and makes me smile every time I look at it. A couple of websites are almost finished and coming together quite nicely thanks to our team of programmers, copywriters and graphic designers. DDA has been awarded one of the ten most dependable Search Engine Marketing Firms of the US just recently and updates to our website announcing this achievement are happening as I type. Oh, and it’s a 3-day week this week!

Doing It Right In 2008.

Hard to believe today is the last day in June. Weather wise it has been an erratic month. Too many hot dry days this early in the season according to the old-timers I talk to. These are die-hard gardeners who have always depended on certain seasonal changes to make their vegetables and flowers grow. In 2008, you have to throw those old rules out of the garden patch.

You also have to throw away the old rules of doing business the old fashioned way, with salesmen showing up at the company door bearing doughnuts for everybody and taking time to make small talk, crack a joke, before asking for an order, THIS IS NO LONGER THE WAY!

Today, savvy companies depend on the Internet to generate leads, and new clients/customers (depending on the business or service offered). At Dynamic Digital Advertising, we strive to demonstrate how important the search function is to a client’s business. We are experts at search engine optimization (SEO) work. Of course, the caveat is that a company has a robust architecture in place along with meaningful content. Such a website makes search engine optimization work a joyful challenge for our SEO specialists.

Doing it right takes planning and intelligent execution, something our graphic designers, professional writers, and programmers are adept at. At DDA, we have created some hefty websites that do very profitable business for the companies who have trusted us with their projects. The wonderful phenomenon that is the Internet can be used to a company’s advantage day in and day out. The sales and marketing people just have to do their due diligence. AHA moments will follow, I promise. The next step is checking out all the services DDA has to offer. I promise again, you won’t be sorry if you choose us to build your new website or retrofit your old one.

Decisions, Decisions

I have to be the most undecided person that I know… besides my mother. Making a decision for me is never quick and easy. From what to wear (I usually change at least 3 times before leaving the house), to what I feel like eating (especially when it comes to dessert), to which website to optimize each day at DDA, a search engine marketing company. I usually go back and forth… and back and forth… and still second guess my final decision.

Of course, there are a few decisions that were no brainers - saying yes to a wedding proposal, saying yes to a weekend down the shore and definitely saying no to the kiosk workers at the mall who just want a minute of my time…

This week is the beginning of a new month, which means that I can pick and choose which websites to start optimizing from our SureThing Optimization Program. Although I do usually default to the old alphabetical order method for the most part, it is nice to know that I can work on a wedding cake software website that was designed by DDA (that sits patiently near the end of the alphabet) if I want to.

Once I decide on a website then another decision must be made, which optimization step should be implemented. I check though the status report, which is a running tally of past optimization, and then also scan through the website to make sure that all meta tags are in place and focused, search for any press releases that need to be submitted and so on.

I have noticed that I have gotten progressively better at this whole decision making thing (planning a wedding has helped… a lot!) When it comes down to making a decision about website optimization for my clients, the decision is all about what will enhance the existing website and what will achieve higher rankings for the website in the major search engines.

If you are looking for a website design or a search engine marketing company, it’s a no brainer! Choose DDA!
