DDA Innovates…
How many of us remember our teachers urging us to practice? Especially true for those of us who grew up when penmanship was graded. I remember practicing the letter o, over and over again (and now I also date myself–who teaches penmanship anymore?). But practice is still important today, witness the golfer perfecting his swing or putting skills. Or ballet dancers, pianists, singers repeating a movement, a line, a phrase until it is right.
So why don’t we practice at DDA? Because what we do defies practice. If we built template websites, we could swap out images, information, maybe even content. Maybe practice would help. The same is true of what we do in the interactive arena loosely known as video. But we only create custom work. So knowing the basics is crucial, having experienced crew is paramount, but practice would be silly.
If you doubt me, check out the many websites unbrellaed under zerooezero. You won’t find two brochures or logos or sell sheets that have any similarilty. And that contrast is even more profound when you analyze the websites ww build for clients, or the training videos we do for medical projects. Being a highly customized creator of advertising, marketing, promotional, and elearning tools makes our work complex and challenging, but at the end of the day, it also leaves us with the assurance that we lead not follow. We truly are innovators. DDA changes the landscape both in the corporate and medical fields. Gandi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” That we practice!
