3 projects 6 days

The video department is really buckling down hard this week in order to get 3 different projects out the door by the end of next week.

The first project is a PowerPoint DVD with video spokesperson for a health insurance company.  As you remember, Steve was in the studio last week filming for this project.  So far things have been going smoothly and we have a rough version of chapter 1 all laid out.  If we keep up this current pace, we should be able to have the final DVD approved by next week so we can go into DVD duplication.

The next project is a sales video for a window and gutter installation company.  As you probably remember, we went on location to Maryland to film several different types of installations to be used in a series a videos to help potential customers understand the installation process.  We recorded the voice-over for this project yesterday, and should have a rough version of the gutter installation video any day now.

Finally, we are wrapping up the promotional DVD for the physical therapy chain.  This project has been in the works for a long time and it is nice to finally be coming towards the end.  We just have one more chapter to edit and animate and then we can begin putting the DVD together.  You are gonna love this one!

Top Notch Service Boosts Sales

Tomorrow, Paul from our actor’s network will be coming into the studio to do some voice-over work. As you probably remember, the DDA Video crew went on location in Maryland a few weeks ago to film the installation of gutters, windows and a sliding glass door. This footage will be cut into several 3 to 4 minute videos that showcase the window company’s top notch installation process. These videos will be shown on the company’s website and in their show room to help boost sales. Paul’s voice-over will accompany this footage to help the viewer to fully understand each process.

DDA also built and currently maintain the same company’s website. The website features customer testimonials, product descriptions and more; all in a sleek, easy to navigate interface.

Rumor has it, DDA will be heading back down to Maryland to film more installations in the near future but nothing is set in stone just yet. Keep an eye out for these installation videos!

Powerpoints Come Alive!

Tomorrow, Steve will be coming into the studio for a video shoot. Steve is part of our actors network and we have worked with him on several projects before. He has done voice-over work for medical videos and training CD-ROMs. This time, he will be doing spokesperson work for a medical PowerPoint presentation DVD. Basically, Steve will be shot on green screen and then keyed in over a PowerPoint presentation. As each slide changes, he will help explain it and guide the viewer. The script is quite lengthy, but Steve is a talented fellow so this should not be any trouble for him. Once we have the footage, our team of video editors will bring an ordinary PowerPoint presentation to life with the addition of a live actor. Once complete, the presentation will be burned to DVD to be enjoyed on your television or computer.
