Promotional Videos and Interactive Learning Tools

A lot of different projects are currently in the works.

Our team of copywriters is currently developing scripts for the footage that we shot in Maryland a few weeks ago. While we were shooting, the client was hooked up to a wireless microphone and was able to comment on the procedures being done. Our copywriters then took that audio commentary and turned it into a voice-over script that will be read by one of the talented actors in our network. That voice-over will then be added to a 3-4 minute video.

Other projects include an interactive medical learning website that combines video and 3-D animation into a sleek flash interface. The user is able to sync the two videos together to get a complete understanding of each ailment. Once the user is confident in their ability to identify certain characteristics, they can then be tested for certification and accreditation.

3D Animations and Flash Programming Combine To Form a Learning Tool

For the past few months, Rob has been animating a highly detailed 3-D model that shows the various stages of human swallowing. Working closely with a medical professional who specialize in the field, Rob has been able to re-create this process in a 3-D environment with stunning accuracy. Once complete, the model will be used as a learning tool to simulate various issues associated with the swallowing process for doctors training in the field.

Our team of programmers have designed a website interface that will show the 3D animation along side an x-ray video of the same swallowing action. Doctors can then compare the two videos to get a complete understanding of how each issue looks. After examining each set of videos, an online quiz will be administered to grant the doctor accreditation in that specific area.

This is just one of the many learning tools that DDA CMT has created. To see more, go to DDACMT.com.

Screen Captures for Demo Reels

Now that DDA in 60 seconds is complete, we begin the task of creating individual demo reels for each of DDA’s 7 divisions. This includes DDA Corporate, DDA Video, DDA Medical (did I mention the new DDA Medical Smartsite?), DDA Apps, DDA SEM, DDA CMT, and DDA USA. Each reel will consist of relevant clips from our massive portfolio. DDA in 60 seconds gave you a general idea of what DDA is all about. These individual demo reels will give viewers a more in depth look at each division and allow them to see what each is capable of.

A plethora of projects will be included in these reels, including non-video projects such as flash applications and websites. These will be displayed using screen capture software. This software allows us to record images and sound displayed on any computer monitor. With this technology, we are able to show a user interacting with a website, game, application, CD-ROM, DVD, and more. The software is also useful for computer training applications since it allows for the addition of narration and has zooming capability. To see this software in action, keep an eye out for DDA’s 7 division demo reels!
