Fresh Content for Bigger Rewards

As companies evolve, so to should their marketing and branding. But it doesn’t stop with simply keeping up appearances with a nice website or cutting edge logo design - it’s also about adding more content over time. When a new product is launched, when a new procedure is developed, or even when testing begins, new content about the latest news should be added to your website. Not only does this help provide your customers with the latest news about your organization, but search engines love it. A site that is consistently updated and has lots of new content is proven to be more successful on Google than a stagnant site that never updates. The concept is quite simple, you update your site on a typical basis and as long as the content is new and relevant, you are rewarded for it. How do you do this? Again, the answer is quite simple and it can be done in numerous ways:

  • Latest News. Adding a latest news section to your website and updating it regularly is helpful. However, if it is not regularly updated, users may realize that your site is out of date and turn somewhere else, so you need to make sure you regularly add news if you have such a section.
  • Blog. Blogging isn’t just for people looking to share their opinions, it’s also a good way to get fresh content out on a regular basis. Blogs should relate to your company, but are a little more open to discuss other topics as well.
  • Add New Content. Adding new content to a website isn’t always easy. It often requires some upgrades to make room for new menu items, but there is always room to grow. While you may have one page dedicated to a specific subject, you can always start getting into the nitty gritty details about that subject and add a new page for each detail.

Working in a Digital World

It has become very apparent to me lately that working in a digital world is unlike any other. For instance, right now DDA is planning for a 4-day photo shoot to take place on-location at a medical office and in-studio in front of a green screen. With green screen technology, we can shoot hundreds of images, key out the background, and put the models in any environment imaginable. This is a prime example of how digital workflow has changed everything. We do not have to spend all 4 days on-location building elaborate sets and working tirelessly to make every single detail. Instead, we can digitally create realistic 3D environments that have almost no limitations aside from budgeting. In our digital world, a green room can turn yellow, a couch can become a desk, lighting can be fully controlled, and background angles can always change.

In more extreme instances, and something DDA is currently doing, we can create complete virtual simulations that showcase products, effectively train users, and more. With virtual medical simulations,  medical practitioners can literally perform surgery to learn how to properly use the instruments or deal with specific cases in a safe, risk-free environment. With significant training this way, physicians can learn all the ins and outs before working with patients. How amazing is that?

It’s pretty clear to us, and now many of the clients we  are working with, that our digital world can make the impossible a reality.

The Perks of Marketing with DDA

Our plan this weekend was to get a lot of yard work done, which we partly succeeded at, or at least at accomplishing our primary goals. Unfortunately, the heat was just too much by Saturday afternoon and I was drained of energy, so we called it quits. And forget about Sunday. Part of our efforts included going down to the public works department in our borough to drop off weeds and brush we’d just cleared and pick up some mulch. Granted, it’s not the greatest mulch, but it’s free, which makes it pretty good in my book. I love that the borough offers this (though most do) and it’s even greater that’s it only a couple of blocks away. Another joy in my eyes of living in a small town.

At DDA, we give away free stuff too, as a courtesy to our clients. OK, so you have to pay for our services, like corporate and medical website design and development, video production, graphic design, and custom programming, but with those come a lot of freebies that make the experience that much better. Like marketing and branding, which is an integrated part of every service we undertake, conceptualization, attentive customer service, responsiveness, and of course innovation. Then there’s our post-launch search engine marketing (SEM) program, which includes free website hosting.  We not only help you find the solution that best meet your needs, we provide unique and cutting-edge technologies, like interactive marketing services and virtual medical simulations, that put you way ahead of the competition.

Like my borough, we want to maximize convenience for our clients, offering everything that’s needed to be successful in house, with all of the perks of a big-time agency (without the prices). That’s why we’re always looking to the future, like building and converting websites to be iPad and iPhone compatible and custom developing apps, to compensate for the Adobe Flash and Apple fallout.

Contact DDA today to get corporate advertising, medical marketing, and healthcare communication services that give you way more than you ever thought possible.
