Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Yesterday, a Robin flew into the front window of our building. With a very large thud, he knocked himself out cold and was passed out near a bush at the front door. I giggled a little when I saw him as he reminded me of some parties from my youth, but then remembered the headache that also came with it and I felt sorry for him. I looked at the beauty of that little creature as he slowly started to move and look around. The feathers were fine and detailed, with a beautiful red breast. Even his eyes were dark and shiny like little buttons. It’s not often that we can have the opportunity to see such detail up close to appreciate its beauty. Not all might appreciate the same things that I do. They might be too busy or just be scared of this wild animal so close to them- and not want to look, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At DDA, our graphic designers and  animation artists and videographers incorporate the most beautiful details into every graphic and web design. And the intricate details don’t stop at just aesthetic pleasure, the intricate code programming is a work of art unto itself as it works behind the scenes along with search engine optimization to enhance every website. In our busy lives, stop a moment and take a closer look to appreciate the beauty of the details in life.

Rain Dance

Monday, April 28th, 2008

After so many sunny and warm days last week, I awake to a rainy Monday morning. It is not such an unusual sight in April, just a little disappointing after such a beautiful week. But I have to remind myself that the rain is just as important as the sun in life.

It makes me think of the facinating flash animation that is being created  by one of our amazing Animators.  I was mesmerized as a beautifully animated leaf appeared on screen, swirled in a little dance and magically turned into a combination of leaf and droplet of rain. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the screen as each tiny little movement was tweaked to perfection. At DDA we can create the best custom animation by our top notch Animation artists. Our designers can create 2d or 3d animation, character animation, medical animation, even  animated backgrounds that can include live actors interacting. The new and exciting things that are created everyday here at  DDA never ceases to amaze me.

Challenge Yourself Today

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Today, I ask you to challenge yourself to work harder, better, and faster than yesterday. When you allow yourself to be comfortable with the status quo, things tend to fall a apart, the bar has been lowered, and confidence in your abilities weakens.

At our full-service advertising agency, DDA, it’s important that all of our professional staff members push the envelope every day. Graphic designers need to be on the cutting edge in terms of style, graphics, layout, imagery, etc. Copywriters need to tune into the types of messages that are relevant to today’s and tomorrow’s demographics. Animation artists and programmers need to understand the latest technological advancements in software and programs to utilize them to their optimum level for our clients. Search engine optimization technicians need to be aware of the evolving algorithms of search  engines to ensure that we do our best to maximize rankings for as many relevant keywords as possible.

We are in a field where thinking one step ahead is commonplace. The only way to achieve this goal on a daily basis is to challenge yourself. So I ask of myself and my colleagues to look within and see how you can make today better than yesterday!

A Sign from Heaven

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

While our new facilities (since March 1st) are dramatically bigger and better and a joy to live with and in, they still lack a proper sign out front.

It turns out that most Townships, ours included, make money by allowing businesses to post signs outside their front door and make even more money by allowing the signs to change with each new inhabitation by each new business resident. This monopolistic money making scheme results in a lengthy, expensive and sometimes impossible permitting process that takes many weeks, forms, drawings and sometimes even consultants to complete successfully.

As we are often, and totally with the acquisition of our new facility, we are very lucky.

The former owner left a beautiful, big, expensive, and totally non-related sign in the facility. Didn’t want it or more likely didn’t want the hassle and expense of getting it approved in their new township location.

Turns out that if you do not change the shape or size or footprint of a sign, you can reface it without having to thread the permitting process. With some effort, good planning, and the effort of one of our artists we are in the process of rehabbing the sign just as we did the building, and just like the building it is turning out to be beautiful. Gold and green, rich and bright, lighted and landscaped, DDA will enjoy for many years to come not just the most attractive and professional sign on the street but perhaps in the entire township.

The sign reads Dynamic Digital Advertising, LLC. It should really say; within the walls this sign sits in front of, is the world’s best advertising, marketing, branding, website developer, video production company, graphic design house, photography studio, custom programming group, professional copy writers, animation artists, ecommerce specialists, search engine marketing technicians, and creative advertising concept developers.

We tried, but it just would not all fit!

Cooperation is Key

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

Some days it feels like you have so many things to juggle that even an octopus doesn’t have enough arms. Your mind is going in so many different directions that your head is just spinning. Yet this is a typical day here at DDA. And the reason that everything works out so well is that special cooperation that everyone shares. There is a rapport within these walls that is shared and enjoyed by all. Without that cooperative relationship, we could not succeed. But yet everyone from animation artists to videographers to programmers, and graphic designers to search engine optimization specialists and advertising managers work so well together, as well as individually, that everyone and everything succeeds.

No Man or Woman Stands Alone

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

At Dynamic Digital Advertising (DDA), we have a staff of talented and degreed individuals, which include progammers, copywriters, videographers, animation artists, photographers, web developers, search engine optimization specialists, graphic designers, project coordinators, and more. While many advertising agencies employ freelancers that are remotely based and often times disconnected from the work involved in a project aside from that of their own, DDA has all creative team members available in-house for linear production and comprehensive collaboration.

For example, the work I do as an advertising Copywriter for a brochure is not considered seperate from design, but rather part of the whole overall concept. The text supports the illustrations and vice versa so the brochure functions as one cohesive piece that conveys the “right” collective message. This approach is applied to all service areas of our business. No team member, whether they be man or woman, animator or writer, is considered more important than another. We work together to accomplish the objectives of our clients. All pieces of a project are critical to its success, even down to the proofreading done for accurate functionality and spelling.

Our ability to communicate and work together for a common goal is one of the many ways that make DDA the better choice for your advertising needs. We are a team of professionals that have obtained degrees from around the world and have come together to work on a level playing field and provide the very best quality work for our clients.

DDA is the Creative Extension of your Business

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

In addition to holding a Lead Copywriter position at DDA, I oversee client projects from start to finish as Project Coordinator and, in many cases, provide long-term assistance for projects that extend from which they initially contacted us for into other areas of advertising. This service ensures that projects come to fruition in a timely manner and that the enthusiasm for the objective at hand is maintained for an end product of exceptional quality.

I take pride in my work and that of every member of our creative in-house team, which includes programmers, web developers, graphic designers, search engine optimization specialists, videographers, animation artists, photographers, and more. It is my goal in every project to be sure that the client is so happy with the end result and the work involved that they employ our services for all of their advertising initiatives, allowing us to build powerful Marketing Systems that transform their business.

To me there’s no greater satisfaction than knowing you and your team had such a positive impact on a company that they return to carry on their advertising campaigns for years to come. One of my favorite things in life is to see a  company of great people reach levels of success that they never thought possible. At DDA, we don’t like to consider ourselves to be an outsourced vendor, but rather the creative extension of your business.
