Fighting off a few germs

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

It’s that time of year when everyone seems to be suffering from allergies or catching some kind of cold or virus. Right now there are a few of us here that are fighting off a few germs. And I myself will be keeping a few doctors busy this week.  I have found that it is amazing how much medical information is available on the web today. It used to be so hard to find out information if you were sick and had questions- and there’s always a million questions. Now you can find so much info that it can make your head spin! Understanding it may be a different hurdle.DDA has a large and varied collection of medical sites that we design and maintain.  Each one is different. There’s information from Doctor listings, to images and technical information on specific types of cancerous cells. The medical copywriting and medical videos are helpful and informative. There are medical animations and medical illustrations that help you to understand medical or surgical procedures. I find it very comforting to know that so much information is available right at my fingertips. And as an informed patient, I can be prepared to ask my doctors the right questions and to try to understand the answers.

Made to Last

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Yesterday, I wore a shirt that, believe or not, is 7 years old.  And to my shock I received numerous compliments. The shirt is made well and possesses a timeless design that makes it suitable for wear today.   Though it has been well-worn and washed countless of times, the color and shape look good as new. This timeless approach to garment design reflects DDA’s approach to website design, brochure development, custom corporate and medical videos, training programs, and more. Our goal isn’t to generate an end result that is in fashion and suitable for only a short period of time, but to rather design websites, graphic designs, and content that is timeless.

DDA has always considered itself an innovator in the field of digital advertising. We don’t follow the trends but create them, striving to foresee the future to achieve a video, corporate or medical training program, or website that will stand the test of time. Though video has recently become the latest movement in website design, DDA has been practicing this approach for years. This progressive attitude toward digital advertising is why DDA, in my opinion, is so successful. Like my well-loved shirt, the work that we produce will surely be beneficial to our clients for years to come.

AdSense Makes Sense

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Yesterday I began work on a series of videos for Google Adsense. Still in its infancy, Google Adsense is a service that displays short flash videos that are relevant to Google search content. The videos must be less than 2 minutes and are quite small (174×130) so you have to get your message across quickly. We will be producing videos advertising medical videos, product videos, spokesperson videos, testimonial videos and general AdSense, which will actually be a short DDA demo reel. I am especially excited to cut the DDA reel as DDA has not had an actual video reel recently, but rather an entire website devoted to video content (http://www.ddavideo.com). I was going through old projects yesterday for usable footage, and there certainly is no shortage of material!

Pushing Through

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

I run the risk of sounding like a motivational speaker, but the old adage that belief in yourself must start from within, is a statement to live by. Recent circumstances have reinforced this notion, and I find myself needing to reassure my self-confidence in order to achieve. In a business where the creative mind is your key to success, belief in one’s abilities is vital for the continued output of quality work. Search engine optimized online and print copywriting, graphic design, video production, and more demand   the commitment of confident individuals that are sure of their talents and abilities. Just the tiniest seed of doubt can oftentimes hinder one’s progress.  That is why self-reassurance and the affirmation of your own abilities should become a daily ritual.

When observing the caliber of work that is produced by the staff here at Dynamic Digital Advertising, the quality of graphic designs, corporate and medical videos, scripts, programming, and creative copywriting, never ceases to amaze me. This level of continuous quality and innovation obviously comes from a team confident in his or her talents.

So, I plan on starting this ritual of “I can” and now I must do!

Pushing the Boundries

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Building complex websites that are at once user friendly and innovative can be a challenging task. Companies want a website that present thier products and services in a unique way that demands the attentions’ of users and catapults their business above the competitions’. I have found through my experience as a Project Coordinator, the DDA team is well versed in achieving just this—a  new and exciting way to build not only websites, but corporate and medical videos, brochures, Corporate and Medical Training programs, and more.

DDA seems to excel at pushing the boundaries of the norm to achieve new and groundbreaking methodologies of video production, database programming, and graphic design. Just look at our website as an example. Several technologies are combined to make an experience like no other. Custom videos interact with site navigation, live actors are integrated into well-crafted 2d animations, and custom programming enable exciting functionality. Though the experience is one that is new to many, the DDA team never loses site of ease of use and functionality.

A project I am currently overseeing is an excellent example of our team’s expertise in pushing the boundaries while achieving an intuitive and easy to use website. Video elements, custom database and admin programming, and innovative designs meld together to create a site that can only be defined as groundbreaking, however the core philosophy centers on the users’ ability to navigate and utilize the site with ease.
