The Thursday Wrap Up
It’s Thursday! The end of the week, which means tying up loose ends. I’ve developed a routine of thoroughly checking my Daily Task List to identify projects that seem to have lost steam. Whether a page of optimized content has yet to be reviewed or a script wire-frame for a corporate or medical video has not yet been approved, keeping on top of projects is vital to ensure deadlines are met and expectations exceeded. So, this morning was spent sending a slew of emails to gently nudge my clients to move forward, because like us, I know they too are busy and it is easy for tasks to fall through the cracks.
The rest of my day I plan on pushing to finalize certain aspects of my projects. Three content plans need tweaking, a site needs proofing, and a quote needs preparing. If I don’t finish, I worry. For me, finalizing tasks on Thursday’s are very cathartic and leave me with a clear and stress-free outlook, which is a very good thing because who wants to worry about work over the weekend? Certainly not me.
