Who Put the DDA Signal Up?
It never fails. When it comes to my existing clients, they always travel in packs.
Through the summer months, my ongoing projects slowly drifted by. A fix here, an addition there, a few weeks between responses. No biggie. It happens, especially during the vacation seasons.
But this week, it was like someone shone the DDA signal in the sky, and all of those projects that were getting there slowly but surely, have suddenly taken off at amazing speed.
This week, we got the push for a clinical study project, which includes logo design, brochure design, content development, and trade ads, as well as illustrations, an interactive CD-ROM that includes animation and live video, a website development and design project, which also includes live video and a lot of interactive components, then there is a sell sheet, and a new trade ad. Did I mention all are on tight deadlines?
But even though it’s been a bit hectic, it’s not a problem. At DDA, we move at the pace of our clients, and as soon as we receive feedback or revisions, we get to work right away.
Of course, it may mean that the videographers, illustrators, animators, website developers, and graphic designers, will try to duck and cover when I walk by in the next few days, but it will all get done on time and look great.
I just hope next time whoever put that signal in the sky, gives me a little warning.
