What is right?

There are many ways to search engine optimization. One fixed formula may have some effect on all websites but all clients’ websites are slightly different and have different reasons for existing. One tactic that may have worked perfectly well for one firm, does not mean that it’s the right way to do it every time.

Each optimization effort has to be handled personally, no two campaigns are ever quite the same. Here at DDA, we take a personal approach to search engine optimization, just as we do with all our services from Branding to Videos. We believe the client should always have contact with the people working on their project and not be isolated through gatekeepers and sales teams.

So what is the right way for SEO? Well that depends on you. Here, we do it the DDA way and it’s worked out pretty well so far.

Can you hear me now?

What every small business needs the most is a voice. Mostly they have a thought. Their product or service, approach to customer relationships, perhaps their physical location or facility, their staff and presentation are all things they would say or show or exhibit if only they had a way of getting their message out.

In many very real ways DDA is their voice. Marketing, advertsing, sales support, CRM tools, training CD Roms and/or DVD, medical webscasts, search engine maketing and search engine optimization, brochures, podcasts, websites, video integrated websites, videos, trade show exhibits, etc. Each and every branding, advertising and marketing project we do is helping a business to be heard.

How clear, how loud, how accurately, how effectively and how successfully they are heard depends on how well we at DDA do our jobs. The promise we make to each and every client is to bring all of our talents, skills and energy to the table in the most cost effective and effective way to make sure their message is well tuned, well understood and well received.

It is our job and our responsibility to make sure our clients are not just whispering in the dark.

Expanding the Virtual Pipes

I picked up Team Fortress 2 off of Steam for the PC last week, and boy was it a bad idea. That game is far too much fun for its own good - I think I stayed up a little too late the last couple of days capturing briefcases and pushing carts. What is cool is that when I spontaneously decided that I wanted to play this game, it was after 11 p.m. on Sunday and all the stores were closed. But Steam is always open.

I have talked before about the new world of all-digital software distribution that we now live in. It still amazes me how many opportunities arise that we get to use the ridiculously powerful amounts of broadband that we have access to. At DDA, we are able to upload high quality images, videos, animations, and websites which would have been unheard of on the web 10 years ago. And the pipeline is only expanding. It is estimated that within the next decade, the average consumer bandwidth will exceed 10000 Mbits/s. And as broadband grows, so too will our ability to provide higher resolution movies and animations to our clients.
