Static Pages Vs Dynamic Pages

The word static means having no motion; being at rest; fixed; stationary according the online dictionary, which pretty much defines a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) template page. The content in static pages created by a user can only be changed if the user changes the content on that page. However, Dynamic pages are generated with content from a database, a data repository system, and based on the request made by a user, the request is made to a server that has scripting language, such as ColdFusion, to generate dynamic pages by acquiring the specific category of information requested by the user and presented to the user as HTML pages. The word Dynamic means the characterization of continuous changes and activity or progress, which reflects well with Dynamic pages. Information changes based on user interaction with the HTML pages. This technology is essential to the exchange of information in a global scale, within the business, politics, educations and scientific worlds. The need for information is the essence of this current era – the information age.
