It’s funny how time flies these days. As a child, I remember how slow the month of December went with such great anticipation of what the holiday season may bring. My family used to setup a Santa calender and every day I eagerly moved Santa closer and closer to the 25th. Wow, it seemed like it took forever! Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I’ve lost any Christmas spirit or anything; the winter holidays have always been my favorite time of year. I dig the lights, the decorations, mom’s home-made dinner, and the overall feel-good vibe. Since I’ve been so busy shooting and editing high definition video, creating custom made DVDs, converting 3D models and animations into various video formats, and integrating videos into state-of-the-art flash websites, this month has quickly passed me by!
Fortunately, I got most of my holiday shopping out of the way early because I didn’t want to be stressed on Christmas eve. Come to think of it, that’s actually sort of how DDA works on a regular basis: Planning ahead, staying on task and preventing production problems from the start. With this simple concept in mind we will ensure project deadlines are met and a quality product is produced.
Now that there are only three days left before Christmas, I think it’s finally time to start getting in the holiday mood. Here’s a great video I found on YouTube that I”ll share with everyone. Being a percussionist myself, I found this quite entertaining!
