A Cut Above The Rest

A business colleague was bemoaning the state of competition for most goods and services.  He has a point. Check out the number of banks in a three mile radius, or count the number of places selling pizza. And of course we must not forget how easy it is to search through Google and maybe get even better deals than you would find at a physical store or bank.

Business today requires those who want to succeed at whatever they are promoting and selling to pay very close attention to every detail. I think of it as a health check at DDA. It starts with a staff that has almost no sick days and then builds from there. It means being organized and keeping in touch with clients throughout a project. It means an email trail of the process, whether you are building a website or simply doing a reprint of a brochure. No sloppiness allowed. It means believing we are a cut above the rest as an advertising agency and proving it with our output.

Clients are busy people, and learn to rely on vendors that keep them informed and can summarize the project from the start if need be. When a client awards DDA a webcast or signs on for marketing and branding, the staff involved starting with those in business development and filtering outward to a project coordinator and the rest of the team (a graphic designer or a programmer) stay available and connected until the job is done.

That is why we have long time clients. We work hard to push the envelope and provide the best service of a custom house. If we did templates and just reused images and ideas and content, we would not stand out from the competition. It would also diminish the talented group that works here. We are a very vital, energetic crew eager to move forward even in this down economy.
