Careful Attention To Detail

Details, details, details. Some people thrive on it, others go through life ignoring anything but the big picture. I am here to tell you, in one’s personal life and especially at work, details cannot be ignored.

Take what we do at DDA. If our programmers did not run their tests for security breaches, the implications of a break, even a small one, sends ripples throughout the building. There are mischief makers out there ready to pounce on any unsuspecting systems.  That is just one thing on a long list of daily checks that keep us functioning seamlessly.

What would happen if our animators did not painstakingly, hour after hour build a medical model that demonstrates what the client wants? The need for realistic medical animations requires hours of rigging, adjusting, rendering.

Our business development team is challenged with explaining in detail to a new client what we can do when the client comes to us for an e Learning project, or when the request is for a multi-layered website (no templates please).

Even housekeeping chores at DDA require staff to mind the details. Kitchen duty, did you wash out the sink, wipe down the glass table tops, bundle the trash, turn off the lights?

I contend that a capable marketing and advertising company relies on details to bring to fruition the big picture. To survive in this sagging economy, a company has to offer more than the competition. All departments at DDA strive to do just that, and in the doing, we all pay careful attention to detail.
