DDA Policies And Practices

Late last week I was working with one of our health care providers for some needed information. The person on the other end was helpful, if a bit slow. But he explained that the delay was because he “was being careful to get everything right before I let you go…” and he promised to fax the documents in fifteen minutes, tops. I got off the phone satisfied, did not check my fax for an hour because I was busy with other  things including payroll. Well, long story short. The documents did not come that Thursday. Since I have time to complete this health care task, I told myself, add it to Friday’s task sheet. Well, it is Monday and still no fax. Now I am past disappointed, I am annoyed. I have to start all over. What a waste of time and money, for DDA and the health care provider as well.

At our advertising and marketing company, we all work hard to assure our clients that their projects are well cared for throughout the process. We do not make promises we cannot keep. We do not miss deadlines. We have not missed a deadline in fifteen years. Our SEO specialists are on top of their game. Jess never lets a month go by without informing  every client enrolled in our organic search program results for that month. So deadlines are adhered to religiously.

We never accept projects with impossible requirements, even when the client will add considerably to the budget. All our clients, including the new ones know we take deadlines very seriously. They can make a  deadline a movable target, that is their perogative, and we will adjust on our end. Often this is a source of frustration to our web developers, our programmers, our professional writers, but the clients control the flow of needed information, so they can, for whatever reason, change a deadline.

Running a business requires constant attention, to the details and to the big picture. Irregardless of economic climates, business owners owe it to their customers/clients to present well. At DDA, we work on that every day. It matters to us that when a corporate client or a medical company hires us to do a webcast or build a new elearning tool, that we do the project 110%. And that starts with our work day. Staff comes to work on time, our phones are answered quickly by a person, (none of that “Your mail box is full”). Here you get resolution for questions without being given the run around.  Our emails are handled immediately as well, and just because we are on a permanent 4-day work week, does not mean that everything stalls through the long weekend.  Several staff, keep a close eye on phone messages and email.

As a company, we believe that being proud of who we are and what we do, being real innovators with creativity in marketing and programming, and above all  believing in WIN-WIN is crucial to continued success. Our clients know they can count on us in bad times and good.
