Handle With Care

To stay up-to-date with the advertising, promotional and marketing arenas, I spend some time going through the trades every morning. The new issues have so many dire predictions about this industry and that business niche and warnings about how long we are going to stay in the economic slowdown, after an hour of this, I had to regroup mentally. If one paid attention to the newscasts and all the so called experts right now, most of us would not bother to get up and go to work.

But before coming to work this morning, I also listened to the five am bird symphony (for free no less), and read the following passage in one of my bedside books, “This bright new day…complete with 24 hours of opportunities, a perfectly matched 1440 minutes. This unique gift, this one day cannot be exchanged, replaced or refunded. Handle with care. Make the most of it. There is only one to a customer.” Author Unknown, wisdom eternal!
