In Praise Of The DDA Staff
Maintaining a sense of balance, and not submitting to burnout can be difficult in the best of times. When we feel anxious over too much to do, and compound that with personal problems and/or health issues, it may be hard to remain unstressed in the worse of times.
Enough has been written about stress and how detrimental it is. There are all kinds of suggestions about reducing stress levels beginning with listening to calming music, taking a few minutes away from your computer screen and relaxing through breathing, spending sometime each day doing physical exercise, watching what you eat etc. And even when you do all that, some among us still stay too tightly wound.
At DDA, we work conscious that the economic downturn is not yet over. We are grateful we are busy with wonderful and challenging projects, we are hopeful that all the work we are doing in Business Development will lead to a very busy Fall. We are proud of recently launched website projects. We continue to be a mean, lean fighting machine depending on each other’s talents and dedication day in and day out!
There is no giving in to burn out at DDA. We know how to stay energized individually and collectively. I am proud of the DDA Staff and all we accomplish. You know the old saying, “Lead, follow or get out of the way!” We’re definitely leaders.
