Looking Ahead To Fall & Winter
The venerable Farmers’ Almanac (which has a very loyal following) predicts that we are going to have a very cold winter. Numbing cold they say. Two weeks ago, the Kiplinger news letter predicted the same thing. In the August heat the thought of a warm sweater and a dinner of homemade tomato rice soup and grilled cheese sandwiches does not sound wonderful. But come November, it will be heavenly.
Isn’t that the complaint from season to season? We can’t wait for the first crisp days of autumn, and the glorious display of maple and oak trees turning gold and bronze and deep red. The smell of apple cider when you come in from that long weekend hike is enticing. Then the long winter has us longing for the first daffodils and the happy trill of birds.
With all the technology the weathermen have, the weather remains unpredictable. At DDA, we are the opposite. We are steadfast in our desire to do good work for all our clients. This has not always been easy in this economic turndown. Some of our projects get put on hold so long, it is hard to gear up and remember where you left off. But we have a process that includes details, details, details from emails and notes project coordinators make so nothing falls through the cracks except the original deadline imposed by that client.
There is nothing more satisfying to our programmers, videographers, content writers and especially project coordinators than a responsive, enthusiastic client. That client always gets more than any other because the synergy just catapults the project into a different realm.
So this is a plea to all medical and corporate managers who would hire us this Fall, stay in touch, keep us informed, communicate especially if your project is very complex. We are up to the task and unlike the weather, we are predictable. If we say we can meet your deadline, we will.
