The Proof Is In The Pudding

According to nutrition experts there are some junk foods that are good for you despite their fat content. These include pork rinds, alcohol (in moderation), beef jerky, real sour cream, coconut and dark chocolate. Then those same experts encourage us to eat more shredded wheat, check the salt content of every food before you buy, and have at least five half-cup servings of  fruit and vegetables daily. Somehow sour cream on shredded wheat does not sound right, and I have yet to find pork rind packages that state “50% less salt”.

My point? You can’t have it both ways. If you are going to indulge in junk food, just do it. Enjoy and then stay away for several days or weeks, if you can.

The same is true about selecting a vendor. Today every business is touting bargains. Do not be easily tempted. If it sounds too good to be true, it is probably not the company you want to build your website or design your logo. And keep an eye out for those alluring off shore claims of wonderful work for minimum investment. We have had clients come to us over the years who tried the off shore route, only to be sorely disappointed in the quality of the work. So after wasting months, they have to start again.
