What Do You Do?
In a conversation with new acquaintances, one gets the inevitable, “What do you do?” I try to keep my answer short, so as not to bore the listener, so it is usually, “Everything, from making coffee to paying bills, to weekly payroll, to being the go-to person for HR issues, to being the controller.” Actually, that list has shortened, but is more complex today because DDA has grown and because our services have expanded exponentially.
