What Is Hidden Quality?

When you are in the market to buy something, do you gravitate towards stores or websites that have hidden quality?

First off, what is hidden quality? Well, let me cite a few examples of what is, and what is not hidden quality. If you entered a brick and mortar establishment that looked uncared for, or that was manned by sales people that did not even bother to greet you, wouldn’t you leave? Yet, even in this lagging economy there are too many badly run establishments. Or, maybe you are the type that shops at one am on the internet. Don’t you look for sites that have an easy navigation system, up-to-date information and maybe even someone to talk to (depending on the product)?
