A Message to the Recession
Dear 2008 Recession,
On a very elementary level, I understand why you happened. Between a society of overabundance, credit begin given without responsibility taken, foreclosures and unemployment on the rise, bankruptcies to large iconic organizations, inflation, and so on, one can only assume that you were inevitable. Many businesses and individuals were seemingly defeated by you. But, I’m here to say, they will get back up and walk on.
As this year comes to a close, we’d like to not forget you, but not live in fear of you either. We’d like to know the security of our jobs once more, the satisfaction of getting more for our dollar, and the realization of a brighter tomorrow. I know I’m going against your critics, but I believe you will slowly disappear in 2009 through the innovative initiatives of large organizations and small businesses and individuals determined to see their plans pay off.
At our advertising agency in Philadelphia, PA, we are working with companies on a variety of projects to launch at the start or early phase of the new year. While some companies are start-ups, others have weathered a recession like you some years back, but both parties are utilizing our advertising and marketing services in creative ways to turn next year around for their business, our country, and the world’s economy. From interactive website designs and social network websites to promotional CD-ROMs and medical videos, we’re helping companies pull out their marketing arsenal to make sure YOU are defeated next year.
So good luck 2008 recession, you’re going to need it.
Sincerely,
Laura - an advertising copywriter armed with a computer keyword and creative thought to stab you in the heart!
