Making Medical Right on the Web
Not long after I arrived at work Monday morning — while I was minding my own business and writing a few pages of search engine optimized content — my stomach was sent on a wild ride that ended with me planted firmly on my living room couch for the better part of a day and a half. I’m not entirely back to normal just yet (as illustrated in my appetizing packed lunch of white rice, toast, and Sprite), but things are looking up.
This little bout with illness made me even more aware of the state of medical websites out there on the Internet. I spent some time Monday night trying to figure out what was wrong with me, and whether I had just picked up the so-called “bug” that is going around, or if the seared tuna I ate Sunday night had sent my stomach into a tailspin. As I searched, I realized that most medical-related websites are relatively weak. They either don’t have a defined target audience, they are geared toward physicians and way above the average user, or they are so dumbed down as to not really provide much in the way of useful information. Plus, most of them are not visually stimulating.
But at DDA, we understand what it takes to create a useful and interesting medical website. Our graphic designers and programmers have designed and developed countless medical websites for the simplest applications and the most complex medical devices. All are original, unique, and designed to focus on a precise audience. At DDA, we have years of experience in the medical realm, and our DDA Medical division offers top-of-the line medical marketing services.
