Ready to Launch

For weeks and weeks, we have been anticipating the launch of a large, complex new website that we have been developing and programming over the last few months. It is one of the largest and most complicated programming projects we’ve ever worked on here at DDA, and involved countless tweaks, edits, revisions, tests, and headaches.

But finally, I can say that it has been launched!

Now, that doesn’t mean that everything with it is perfect. There are still a few small glitches that are being worked out, and as regular users begin registering with the site, I’m sure that a few new wrinkles will appear. That’s just the way of the world, and the way complex backend website projects work. But we’re over the biggest hurdle, and now working our way down the homestretch. Our programmers, graphic designers, animators, video specialists, and project coordinators (that’s me!) have all been involved in this project, and can all be very proud with how it’s turned out (at least in my opinion).

Of course, at the rate things are changing on the Internet, especially with interactive Web 2.0 applications such as this one, odds are that this site will change, as well. And here at DDA, we’re ready for the challenge. Whether it’s a small tweak, or an entire new feature that was never even considered in the initial stages of the project, our programmers and designers are ready to work as soon as the client calls.

So hopefully, as the site grows in popularity, hundreds or thousands of users can see the capabilities of DDA. This particular client has, and we hope they are happy with the results.
