Seeing the Daylight

On my way to work this morning, the radio hosts I often listen to were having a funny conversation about last weekend’s switch to daylight savings time. Some wondered why it’s necessary, and complained about the lost hour of sleep Saturday night. Personally, I’m a huge fan of daylight savings (although not on Sunday morning when I REALLY wanted more sleep after a late night in Manhattan).

Mostly, I’m excited to go home today and take the dog for a walk in the daylight — at least what’s left of it at 7 p.m. And because the new schedule has coincided with somewhat warmer weather (now that I said that, it’ll probably snow this weekend), I will enjoy my nightly walk even more. So will Abby, I guess, but she never really seems to care about the darkness or cold. She’s content, as long as there are interesting things to smell.

Here at DDA, we’re seeing the daylight too — in the form of a fancy new version of the DDA Medical website, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks and months. In fact, Jess is seeing the light right now, as Jake, Laurence, and our video team point the cameras at her for informational video segments that will be integrated into the new DDAMedical.com site. I, along with the other creative copywriters here at DDA, whipped up the video scripts over the last few weeks, and are working on other website content now to go with it. But this won’t be your typical website, it’s going to present users with an entirely new environment and experience. It will showcase everything DDA Medical can do, from video production to animation, search engine optimization, healthcare IT, medical marketing, and patient portals.

At DDA Medical, we know what we can do for our clients and potential clients. With our new website, we’ll be able to shed even more light on what we do — which is provide unmatched medical technology and marketing services. So for now, it’s back to work so I can beat the sunset home and enjoy the (slow) approach of spring.
