So Close You Can Taste It

If you’re a regular reader of the DDA Blogosphere (and really, why wouldn’t you be?), you know that the big buzz around here for weeks and months has been the new DDA Medical site. We’ve told you that it’s ready to launch, that it’s close to launch, and that it’s about to launch.

Well finally, it’s actually about to launch (for real…I promise…no joke…scout’s honor). We’re in the final stages of proofing and fixing the last few glitches, and will unveil it to the world in the next few days. The site will not only change the way you look at medical marketing and advertising strategies and services, but also the way you look at websites in general.

We all know what 99.9 percent of all websites look like — some text here, a few links there, maybe even some simple animation or a small square video window. And if you find one that’s really fancy, it might have some sort of high quality video as a focal point (but still confined within a rectangle). This is where the new DDA Medical will change everything.

Not only does it have integrated video, but that video is truly integrated — as in, not confined to a small box. Our spokesperson manuvers all around the page, and her words are coordinated with text in a separate frame. Windows are animated, separate frames are tied together, and the information flows freely. Even the proposal request page is fancy and easy to use.

That’s about all I can say about the new site, or else a hole opens up beneath my chair leading to a dungeon for DDA-ers who give away trade secrets around here. We’re all excited to see the site go live, because nearly everyone here at DDA has played a part in its development. Our graphic designers created an eye-catching layout that will draw your attention. Our programmers created what I’m sure is beautiful custom code (if I knew how to read it, or what it meant). Our search engine optimization specialists strategized a way for the new site to gain the same great traction as our current DDA Medical site. Our copywriters used all their capabilities to create video scripts, website content, and search engine optimization content. And our animators even developed a nifty little rotating logo to illustrate the latest DDA Medical innovation.

All in all, it has been a team effort from beginning to end, just like everything we do here at DDA. And finally, after months of design, development, and construction, you’ll soon be able to see what all the fuss is about.
